About This Product
The type of the screw part is called the M -type connector.
The screw part is called a UHF type connector.
We also handle the M -type connector and UHF connector combined connector (jack).
It has been used mainly for wireless communication and measurement devices for a long time, and many products are inexpensive because of the lack of characteristic impedance, and are used at frequencies below the VHF band. Some impedance is 50Ω for personal radio.
It is often used on the base of automotive antennas. Ham shop (amateur radio dealer), etc., is sometimes called a microphone (Mike) connector using a phonetic code (be careful of confusion with a microphone connector.
Not suitable for transmission of 300MHz or more. However, in the balance between cost and performance, amateur radio, it is often used from DC to 430MHz. Developed around 1930. (UHF connector).
