DriveAFM received the Wiley Analytical Science Award 2023. DriveAFM manufactured by Nanosurf won the Wiley Analytical Science Award 2023 at SEMICON Europa 2022 held in Munich, Germany from November 15th to 18th, 2022.
■Ultra low noise

By combining these, we have achieved the highest possible ultra-low noise floor. This is the basis for DriveAFM's stable, sensitive, and high-resolution imaging and dynamics measurements.
■Direct drive piezo actuator (DPA)
DriveAFM employs a direct drive piezo actuator (DPA). DriveAFM's flexure scanner, which is directly driven by the DPA, has high rigidity and can maintain stability even when scanning a wide range of XY = 100 µm x 100 µm. The higher resonant frequency of the scanner itself provides higher bandwidth than a geared drive scanner with the same scan range. The direct drive scanner drive combined with the ultra-low noise CX controller (28bit) enables wide-area and high-resolution imaging.
DriveAFM is an optimal high-resolution imaging solution for both sub-nm nanostructures such as proteins and biological macromolecules (such as DNA), as well as larger µm-order structures (such as living cells).
