About This Product
Short probes are suitable for temperature measurement of gas, liquid and paste. A high -precision NTC thumbista senser of maximum ± 0.2 ° C is adopted, and accurate temperature measurement is possible.
The short probe features a round probe tip and a short probe shaft with a length of 35mm. A short probe without a cable can measure the temperature of the gas, liquid, and paste adjacent to the measuring instrument and data logger.
The protection grade is IP 54, which is waterproof for water splashes when connecting to a measuring instrument or data logger.
The short probe T99 (the response speed for probes to record 99%of the rise in temperature) is 15 seconds in the case of+60 ° C. It takes even more in the case of fluid liquids, paste, and gas*. *
* The response speed at the time of gas temperature is about 40 to 60 times faster than the temperature display when measuring the temperature of the water, but this probe has a slower response speed, but is more suitable for gas temperature measurement than the temperature sensor that is too sensitive. This probe is ideal if you do not measure a slight temperature change for a certain period of time. For example, when using this probe for measuring the temperature in the refrigerator, it is not necessary to open the refrigerator door and instantly change the temperature that generates warm air from entering the refrigerator.
If you would like a fast gas temperature probe, we recommend the high -speed response temperature probe 0602 0493. The feature is that the temperature measurement range is wide.

Temperature measurement by thermista also uses the property that the resistance value of the sensor element changes depending on the temperature. However, unlike the measured temperature resistance type thermometer, the temperature coefficient is negative in the NTC thumista (that is, the resistance value decreases due to the rise in temperature). The characteristics and tolerance of thermista are not standardized.
