Low-cost LoRaWAN compatible sensor node EM-ELST01 that enables long-term deformation detection of outdoor structures
By combining two types of sensors (open/close detection and vibration detection), it is possible to more reliably detect changes in status. A sensor node that combines open/close detection and vibration detection is a rare and unique product. There are two types of open/close switch sensors: the external type EM-ELST01-E and the internal type EM-ELST01-I. It can be used depending on the purpose.
In recent years, due to changes in the global environment, disasters have become larger and more frequent. In the event of disasters (floods, inland water overflows, landslides, etc.) caused by long-term, wide-area heavy rains, large-scale typhoons, etc., we can monitor the status of social infrastructure and outdoor structures more widely than ever before, and provide faster timing. is required to respond appropriately.
We developed this product based on the know-how we have cultivated through experiments such as detecting deformation of embankments and detecting the opening and closing status of water gates. It also works in conjunction with the new generation of open source LoRaWAN network server The Things Stack. In combination with The Things Stack Community Edition (The Things Network), a LoRaWAN service that can be used free of communication charges, it is possible to build a system that minimizes running costs.
