About This Product
Instron's planar biaxial cruciform testing system features a rigid, precision-aligned annular loading frame that combines four advanced actuators mounted in-plane and perpendicular to each other. Using the advanced capabilities of the 8800 controller to control the travel and deformation of each axis, this system can perform biaxial tensile testing, low cycle fatigue (LCF) testing, high cycle fatigue (HCF) testing, thermomechanical ( It is ideal for testing in the large strain regime, including thermomechanical fatigue (TMF) testing and fracture testing.
Console software provides complete control of the system from a PC, including basic waveform generation, calibration, limit setting, and status monitoring. For simple or complex tests that can be created from a graphical setup screen, WaveMatrix™ dynamic test software is used to synchronously control each axis.
