About This Product

Backlash-free and torsionally rigid shaft coupling for ROBA®-DS–HBM torque transducers ■Features and benefits ・High accuracy and reliability ・Very smooth rotation ・High rotation speed ・Sturdy and high dynamic properties ・Optimal combination with abundant variations ■Specifications ROBA®-DS disc pack couplings of type series 9110 and 9210 are specially adapted for mounting HBM torque transducers. A variety of designs and flexible combination options allow the measurement flange to be integrated into almost all test equipment and drive structures. ■Function ROBA®-DS disc pack couplings compensate for axial, radial and angular shaft misalignment. Torque measuring flanges are precision transducers that allow for negligible measurement uncertainties. However, it requires some prerequisites. One particularly important prerequisite is to minimize the parasitic loads acting on the converter, such as due to driveline alignment errors. The torsionally stiff and backlash-free compensating coupling ROBA®-DS provides the best prerequisites for accurate torque transducer measurement results. ■Recommended structure (outer shrink disc hub) -The recommended type is the shortest and most durable. The coupling is based on DIN ISO 1940 and has a balanced quality of G2.5 at n=3,000 rpm. ・Compact specifications ・Specifications with low mass inertia ・Quick installation possible ・Clamping from the outside of the shrink disk ■Inner shrink disc hub structure - If setting up the measuring line from the load side is only possible via a shrink disc hub with internal clamping ・Mass inertia is larger than the “recommended structure” ・Because an intermediate flange is required, it takes more time to install than the "recommended structure" ■Sandwich structure ・Maximum correction of shaft misalignment and at the same time realizing the shortest possible structure ・Mass inertia is larger than the “recommended structure” ・Because an intermediate flange is required, it takes more time to install than the "recommended structure" ・Clamping from the outside of the shrink disk
