About This Product
A nitrogen gas generator is a device that extracts nitrogen from the air and supplies high-purity nitrogen gas (95-99.999%). Since nitrogen can be obtained on-site, compared to methods of obtaining nitrogen from cylinders or liquid nitrogen, it is expected to reduce administrative burden and operating costs, as well as reduce CO2 emissions associated with shipping.
■Principle of nitrogen gas generator (PSA method)
A nitrogen gas generator is a device that supplies high-purity nitrogen gas by extracting nitrogen from the air. Since nitrogen can be obtained on-site, compared to methods of obtaining nitrogen from cylinders or liquid nitrogen, there is no need to manage the remaining amount or replace it, reducing the burden on administrators. The main operating costs are the equipment's electricity bill and regular maintenance costs, and the gas unit price is low. We can also expect to reduce CO₂ emissions associated with shipping.
■What is PSA?
Abbreviation for Pressure Swing Adsorption. A pressure swing adsorption method that selectively adsorbs unwanted gases using an adsorbent that repeatedly pressurizes and depressurizes.
■System flow (nitrogen gas generator)
Nitrogen gas can be continuously supplied by using two systems of adsorption tanks and repeating pressurization and depressurization alternately.
