Mabuchi Motor's brushless motors are compact and powerful. By designing the motor to be thin, it is possible to achieve both miniaturization and high torque, increasing the degree of design freedom within the AMR housing. In addition, like the motor, the dedicated controller has a compact design, which helps save space for the battery and mechanical parts.
■Waterproof performance equivalent to IPX4
Both the motor and controller have achieved IPX4 waterproof performance. It can be used with confidence even in applications where robots intended to run outdoors may be exposed to splashing water, such as delivery and delivery robots, whose needs are expected to expand in the future, and various support robots in the agricultural field where labor shortages are a concern.
■Energy conversion efficiency 90%
The latest energy-saving design achieves energy conversion efficiency of up to 90%. By increasing motor efficiency, we will improve the electricity efficiency of our customers' products and contribute to carbon neutrality and SDGs.
Features of motor equipped with resolver sensor
■Smooth turning (prevention of going off course)
Motor speed can be controlled in the range of 0-4,000r/min. Precise control of the motors for the inner and outer wheels ensures smooth turning and prevents you from going off course.
■Accurate positioning
Equipped with a resolver sensor with an angular resolution of 15 bits, which improves stopping accuracy compared to a case equipped with a Hall sensor.
■Smooth acceleration and running
Higher angular resolution compared to Hall sensors Improves speed response (followability). Speed control with less rotational unevenness is possible, allowing smooth acceleration and running without rattling.
■Expanded operable voltage range
Compatible with DC24~48V batteries. Furthermore, it supports a wide operating voltage range of 17~60V.
■Robust and environmentally resistant sensor
The resolver sensor, developed using unique magnetic circuit design and manufacturing technology, is more resistant to heat, oil, dust, and vibration than general encoders. Constructed of copper and steel plates, it is unbreakable, has a long life, and maintains sensor functionality even in harsh environments.
■IR/MR series
This is a model of the IS/MS series equipped with a resolver with a resolution equivalent to 15 bits. This motor is suitable for driving AMRs and AGVs in warehouses and factories that require stable running performance in the stopped to low speed range.
