Infineon is the first company in the world to offer the complete CIPURSE™ certified product range for secure contactless cards. It supports and combines public transport tickets, micropayments, authentication and access control.
Infineon's CIPURSE™ certified products provide a secure hardware-based key storage area for AES-128, enabling three-pass mutual authentication and secure communications. It uses the CIPURSE™ cryptographic protocol to secure commands and data, providing inherent resistance to attacks such as differential power analysis (DPA).
The effectiveness of this protocol was recognized in 2012 by the German IT Security Award. Additionally, Infineon's CIPURSE™ certified products are ideal for NFC applications running on standard infrastructures that support the NFC Forum Type 4 tag technical specification.
