About This Product
The "SST-D" series is a cutting-edge model that, in addition to the functions of the suspension spring testing machine "SST" series, can graphically capture the shape of the coil spring being measured with an outer diameter measuring device. It is possible to find the outer diameter of a coil spring at any compression position and output the 3D data of the outer shape measurement as STL data.
Features
■Shape measurement at the same time as load
At the same time as the compression plate is lowered and the load is measured, the entire circumference of the coil spring is measured by rotating the four laser length measuring devices installed at 90 degree intervals up and down. It is now possible to capture changes in the shape of a coil spring during compression, which has been difficult until now. *You can also choose not to use shape measurement. This is useful when you want to shorten exam time.
■Acquire all data in one test
With software exclusively for the SST-D series, data required for suspension pulling such as compression force Fz, lateral force Fx and Fy, vertical center of gravity position, torsional moment Mx, My, Mz, spring outer diameter, minimum inner diameter, etc. can be obtained at once. It is possible to obtain it. Of course, it is also possible to judge each pickup and tolerance.
■Compliant standards
Conforms to JISB7738 "Coil Spring Compression and Tensile Testing Machine" class 0.5 (excluding side force).
■3D data output
The shape of the measured spring can be output in the standard 3D file format "STL".
■Dedicated PC software in 4 languages in one package
The dedicated PC software can be switched between four languages: Japanese, English, Chinese (simplified and traditional), and Korean. If other languages are required, we can add them upon consultation. *Your PC must support that language.
■External shape measuring device retrofit type also available
If you are considering introducing a contour measuring device later due to budget constraints, we have the types "SST-20KNDP" and "SST-50KNDP" that can be retrofitted to the SST series.
