When the aeration tank containing this activated carbon-containing sponge carrier is aerated with a YJ nozzle, almost no surplus sludge is generated because the SS is decomposed due to the intense turbulence in the flow path and its crushing action. Ozone + micro/nano bubbles are released from the micro/nano bubble generator "YJ nozzle" installed in the adjustment tank. Ozone, which has the strongest oxidizing power, generates a large amount of OH radicals and physically decomposes organic matter. . Waste liquid whose decomposition has been accelerated by ozone is transferred to an aeration tank equipped with a sponge carrier containing activated carbon. Ozone may remain for several hours, but due to the action of activated carbon, ozone changes to oxygen, and as a high concentration of pure oxygen is supplied within the microporous carrier, microorganisms are activated and decomposed more than normal aeration. These microorganisms do almost no work in normal aerated water, but in the case of micro/nano bubble water, the permeability of water increases, making it easier for water to penetrate inside the carrier, and the stimulation of micro/nano bubbles makes facultative anaerobic.
