About This Product
The PAN-A series is a high performance, highly reliable variable DC stabilized power supply that can be used in all fields from research and development and quality control to production sites. This series consists of a pre-regulator using an FET and a series regulator using a power transistor. Therefore, it combines the high-quality output characteristics that are a feature of series control type, and the highly efficient input characteristics with low power harmonic distortion that is a feature of choke input type phase control.
On the other hand, in terms of reliability and safety, which are important for power supplies, we use components with sufficient derating and utilize the mounting technology we have cultivated over many years. In addition, all models are equipped with various safety features such as overvoltage protection devices.
Features
■Low temperature drift
We have achieved low temperature drift of 100ppm/℃ (constant voltage characteristics) and 300ppm/℃ (constant current characteristics) by selecting the parts used, improving the circuit, and designing heat dissipation using forced air cooling.
■Fast transient response
The wideband error amplifier has stable frequency-gain/phase characteristics and loop gain up to high frequencies, so it has a low output impedance and can adequately respond to sudden changes. Standard value: 50μs
■Application
Equipped with various functions to support system upgrades, such as remote control using analog signals or a computer (GPIB), remote sensing, and one-control series and parallel operation. PAN350-3.5A/PAN600-2A cannot be operated in series.
■Computer control
By connecting the power supply controller PIA4800 series to the PAN-A series, computer control via GPIB or RS232C is possible.
■Output on/off control
Output on/off can be controlled using external contact signals.
■One-control parallel operation
- The current capacity can be increased by connecting the same models in parallel. Output control can be performed with one main unit (master).
- When performing remote sensing, remote control, output on/off, etc., please use only one main unit.
