■Printed circuit board/flexible circuit board
Replaces common wire or ribbon cable electrical connection wiring. Flexible printed circuit boards (FPCs), which can save space, reduce weight, and improve reliability, are made by etching a copper foil cladding and using a thin polymer resin film as insulation between the conductive circuit pattern.
In some cases, an aerospace-grade connector is mounted at the end as a turnkey subassembly inside the electronic device housing, resulting in a space-saving and lightweight assembly. Glenair has the following features:
