About This Product
■Digital dust meter LD-5R type

■Pump suction method and purge air method
A suction pump is used as the suction mechanism. Stable suction is possible at the measurement site, and it complies with the asbestos leak monitoring manual (Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare) and measurements near the face of tunnel construction work. By adopting a purge air system, it is equipped with a mechanism that prevents dust in the sucked air from adhering to the optical system. After the measurement is completed, it also serves to replace the air inside the detector, maintaining measurement accuracy.
■Filter replacement
The high-performance backup filter protects the suction pump from suctioned dust and can be easily replaced from the bottom of the main unit. In addition, a PTFE binder filter (TF98R) is installed on the suction pump discharge side. The PTFE binder filter can also be easily replaced from the bottom of the main unit.
■Exhaust port/display
The intake cap has a locking mechanism. This prevents accidental opening and closing of the intake port. It uses a color liquid crystal display. Characters are easy to distinguish, making it easy to check measurement results even in the dark. Furthermore, since an LED indicating the operating status is built into the top of the main unit, the operating status can be ascertained even from a distance from the installation location.
