■Operation
LDI-1 provides earth leakage protection in DC circuits and is used in combination with a zero-phase current transformer with the same serial number. LDI-1 constantly applies an excitation signal to the secondary terminal of the zero-phase current transformer. When a leakage occurs in the electrical circuit, a DC leakage current is generated. Depending on the magnitude of the DC magnetic field generated in the zero-phase current transformer, the microcomputer calculates the DC leakage current from the excitation current controlled by the LDI-1, and sets the set value. Performs a comparison operation. When the operation point is reached by calculation, the operation display and output contact are activated.
■Function
・Measurement display
When a zero-phase current transformer is connected and the power is turned on, it enters the monitoring state and displays the current DC leakage current value (Io) on the measurement display. K→L earth leakage is displayed without a sign, and L→K earth leakage is displayed with an unsign. If it is less than 1mA, it will be displayed as 0mA, and if it is more than 30mA, it will be displayed blinking at 30mA. (Measurement range: 1mA to 30mA)
・Operation and recovery
When the DC leakage current reaches the set sensitivity current setting value and the operating time has elapsed, the operation indicator lights up and the output contact operates. The current value displayed is the current value. When the manual reset is set, pressing the reset switch will turn off the operation indicator light and reset the output contact. When set to automatic reset, the operation indicator light turns off and the output contact automatically resets when the current leakage disappears.
