About This Product
■Features
-The front lid is made of transparent acrylic resin.
・There are two models: one for 10 circuits and one for 5 circuits.
・Since the detection unit and space unit are plug-in type, it is easy to increase or decrease the number of circuits for both 5 circuits and 10 circuits.
・Unlike the selector method, even if leakage occurs in multiple circuits at the same time, each circuit operates individually.
・Each detection unit has a test switch, so you can test its operation individually.
・The reset method is a manual batch reset method, but individual units can also be reset.
- The detection unit and zero-phase current transformer are compatible, so it will operate normally even if the detection unit is replaced.
- Sensitivity setting is rotary type 4-point switching.
- The filter circuit has been strengthened to handle inverter loads, so it can operate normally even with currents with distorted waveforms (harmonic prevention product). It is also resistant to radio wave interference, noise, and surges.
■Structure
The LSG-5Y/10Y series has a recessed case made of steel plate, and the front cover is made of transparent acrylic resin. The power supply is fixed to the case, and the unit is plug-in type. Space unit U-26 is available for unused circuits. For automatic return method, detection unit U-25N or U-32N is available.
■Operation
If a leakage occurs in the load side circuit after the zero-phase current transformer is installed, an electromotive force will be generated at the secondary terminal of the zero-phase current transformer. After passing this secondary output through a filter and adjusting its sensitivity, it is amplified by an amplifier circuit, its magnitude is judged by a level detection circuit, and then the output contact is operated by a switching circuit, and at the same time an operation indicator light is lit.
After operation, for models with automatic return method, when the leakage is eliminated, the output contact returns and the operation indicator light turns off at the same time. For manual reset type models, the output contact will not reset and the operation indicator will not turn off until the reset switch is pressed.
