Detects electrical leakage in low voltage AC circuits.

■Operation
In combination with a zero-phase current transformer, it provides earth leakage protection for low-voltage distribution lines. If a leakage occurs in the load side circuit after the zero-phase current transformer, an electromotive force will be generated at the secondary terminal of the zero-phase current transformer. This secondary output is amplified by the amplifier circuit, its magnitude is determined by the level detection circuit, and then the operation display and output contact are operated by the switching circuit.
After operation, if the return method of LEG-109LA/LEG-109LA-DC is set to manual, the operation indicator light will not turn off and the output contact will not return until the return switch is pressed. If it is set to automatic, the operation indicator light will turn off and the output contact will return to its original state at the same time as soon as the leakage is resolved.
Regardless of whether the LEG-109LB/LEG-109LB-DC is set to automatic or manual recovery, the operation display will not recover until the recovery switch is pressed. Please note that pressing the test switch will activate the output contacts.
