This Bluetooth wireless scanner provides fast and accurate barcode scanning, even on poor quality or corrupted barcodes. It also eliminates the long charging times, costs, and environmental impact of batteries.
Traditional cordless scanners are powered by batteries that take several hours to fully charge. The Xenon XP 1952h-bf scanner is different. It operates on a supercapacitor, a small device that stores electrical energy inside the scanner. These supercapacitors can be fully charged in less than 60 seconds when using a powered USB, external power adapter, or base station connected to an external power source. Xenon XP medical scanners not only charge in seconds, but can run for extended periods of time (typically at least 450 scans) without charging.
■Features
When fully charged, the scanner can typically scan over 450 UPC/EAN codes without the need for recharging. The scanner is ready for use in less than 20 seconds.
・Super capacitors maintain a charged state for several hours when fully charged. So if a clinician forgets to put the scanner back in the charger before a break, it won't affect their work after the break.
Two individually configurable recharge alerts alert clinicians to return the scanner to base for charging, ensuring continuous operation.
The Xenon XP 1952h-bh scanner fully charges in less than 60 seconds using powered USB or an external power supply, and in less than 2 minutes with a simple USB connection.
- Once the scanner is placed in the base, the Scan Ready LED typically flashes in less than 20 seconds, notifying the clinician that there is enough power to support over 100 scans.
