About This Product
■SS360PT, SS460PT, SS460P-T2
High sensitivity latching Hall effect digital sensor IC SOT-23 with built-in pull-up resistor, flat TO-92-style, straight or molded lead package.
■Product overview
The SS360PT, SS460P, and SS460P-T2 high-sensitivity latching Hall effect sensor ICs with integrated pull-up resistors are small, highly sensitive, multipurpose devices that operate with magnetic fields from permanent magnets or electromagnets. Designed to respond to polarity switching between north and south poles. SS360PT and SS460P are turned on by the south pole, and SS460P-T2 is turned on by the north pole.
These products offer reliable switching points with high magnetic sensitivity, typically 30G. (up to 55 Gauss) These do not use the chopper stabilization method for the Hall element. This results in a cleaner output signal and faster latch response time compared to competing high-sensitivity Hall-effect latch sensor ICs that use chopper stabilization techniques.
Internal pull-up resistors often eliminate the need for external components, helping to reduce system cost. These high-performance, economical sensor ICs are suitable for demanding low-cost, high-volume applications. These products feature reverse polarity protection, stable output over a wide temperature range, and are compatible with DC supply voltages from 3V DC to 24V DC.
This product is an ideal choice for manufacturers of brushless DC motors who require a latching sensor with high reliability and stable performance for design efficiency and miniaturization. This product provides low magnetic field response, faster response time to magnetic field changes, while having stable repeatability, increasing motor efficiency.
