■Product overview
SS400, SS500 series ICs are small, versatile digital Hall effect devices operated by permanent magnetic, electromagnetic magnetic fields, designed to respond alternately to north and south poles, or to respond only to south poles. Bipolar, latching, and unipolar magnets are available.
Bandgap adjustment provides highly stable operation over a supply voltage range of 3.8 Vdc to 30 Vdc. These sensors can sink 20 mA continuously and cycle at up to 50 mA. Since it is 3.8 V, it can also be used for low voltage applications.
Digital, open collector sink output can be easily interfaced with various electronic circuits.
To provide reliable products and consistent quality, these products are tested at both 25°C [75°F] and 125°C [257°F]. All catalog listings are suitable for operation up to 150 °C [302 °F].
