■Product overview
Operated by the magnetic field of a permanent magnet or electromagnet, these small, versatile digital Hall effect devices are designed to respond alternately to north and south poles. An internal regulator increases operational stability over the 4.5Vdc to 24Vdc supply voltage range. Internal circuitry is also designed to prevent damage to the sensor if the polarity of the supply voltage is accidentally reversed.
Open collector sink output voltage can easily interface with various electronic circuits. Both products are designed for high volume applications. The SS40F is factory tested at 25°C [77°F] and the SS40AF is factory tested at 25°C [77°F] and 125°C [257°F].
These products are available in flat TO-92-style packaging with straight leads in bulk packaging.
