■Product overview
The SS361RT and SS461R are small, multipurpose digital Hall-effect sensor ICs that operate with the magnetic field of a permanent magnet, an electromagnet, and are designed to respond alternately to north and south poles. SS361RT is turned on by the north pole and SS461R is turned on by the south pole.
These latching digital Hall-effect sensor ICs offer improved sensitivity at just the standard 50G (25°C [77°F]), and in some cases can use relatively inexpensive magnets or wide air gaps. Rugged IC design with reverse polarity protection and 150°C [302°F] compatibility.
■These products are available in two packaging styles.
・SS361RT: Subminiature SOT-23 surface mount package that mounts on pocket tape and reel, allowing for compact design with automatic component placement.
・SS461R: Flat TO-92-style package with straight lead wires, allows for bulk packaging and compact PC layout.
