SS30AT/SS40A/SS50AT series sensors are versatile, bipolar, Hall effect sensors. These highly sensitive magnetic sensors offer reverse polarity protection and deliver stable output over a temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C [-40 °F to 257 °F]. Operates from any DC supply voltage within the 4.5 Vdc to 24.0 Vdc range.
The SS30AT/SS40A/SS50AT series sensors build on Honeywell's popular magnetic position sensors and offer several advantages. These sensors are designed with the latest technology in mind to provide reliable and cost-effective solutions for commercial, computer, medical, and consumer applications requiring motor control and RPM sensing.
These products are available in three packaging styles and are suitable for a variety of applications. SS40A with wire leads and flat TO-92 style packaging is supplied in bulk (1000 pieces/bag) or tape in "ammo pack" (continuous) format. Both the SS30AT in a miniature SOT-23 surface mount package and the SS50AT in a miniature SOT-89B surface mount package are supplied on tape and reel for use with automated pick-and-place equipment.
These surface mount devices are attached directly to electrical traces on a printed circuit board (PCB). Attached via an automatic solder reflow operation that requires no holes, reducing PCB costs.
