SS345PT/SS445P sensors are small, versatile digital Hall effect devices operated by permanent magnetic, electromagnetic magnetic fields, designed to respond to a single north pole (SS345PT) or south pole (SS445P).
These unipolar sensors are designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of applications. Internal pull-up resistors often eliminate the need for external components, helping to reduce system cost. These economical unipolar sensors are suitable for simple, high-volume, cost-sensitive position and motion sensing applications.
The device's supply voltage ranges from 2.7 Vdc to 7 Vdc, allowing it to be used in low-voltage applications. The SS345PT's ultra-compact size requires less printed circuit board (PCB) space and can be used in small assemblies.
These sensors are available in two packages: SS345PT, a subminiature SOT-23 surface mount package, and SS445P, a flat lead TO-92 style package.
SS345PT is available in tape and reel (3,000 units per reel). SS445P is available in bulk packaging (1,000 units per bag).
