SS361CT/SS461C latches are small, highly sensitive, versatile digital Hall effect devices that operate in the magnetic fields of permanent magnets or electromagnets. Designed to respond to polarity switching between north and south poles.
These bipolar sensor ICs boast high sensitivity, which often allows the use of less expensive magnets. They feature reverse polarity protection and provide stable output over a temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C [-40 °F to 257 °F]. Operates from any DC supply voltage within the 4 Vdc to 24 Vdc range.
These Hall effect devices include the SS361CT in a miniature SOT-23 surface mount package and the SS461C in a leaded flat TO-92 style package.
The SS361CT's small size requires less PCB (printed circuit board) space and can be used in smaller assemblies.
SS361CT is available as tape and reel (3,000 pieces/reel). SS461C is available in bulk packaging (1,000 pieces/bag).
