Honeywell's Magnetoresistive Sensor IC (Integrated Circuit) Standard Power Series is a highly sensitive device that is durable and reliable for large air gaps or small magnetic fields in standard power (typically 3 Vdc to 24 Vdc) applications. Designed for manufacturers who require a flexible speed or position sensor. Unlike reed switches and other magnetic sensors, Honeywell's solid-state design provides ultra-high sensitivity up to 11 Gauss, making it the most sensitive sensor in its class for standard power applications.
Standard power supply series magnetoresistive sensor ICs respond to either the N or S pole when applied parallel to the sensor. There is no need to specify magnet polarity, simplifying installation and reducing system costs.
