About This Product
■VM series
Anisotropic Magneto Resistance (AMR) Sensor IC Ring Magnet Encoder Detects the speed, direction, and position of a target.
■Product overview
Honeywell's VM Series Anisotropic Magnetic (AMR) integrated circuit (IC) family is designed to sense the speed and direction of ring magnet encoder targets with a unique patent-pending bridge design and configuration. The three product families include 2-pin and 4-pin AMR sensors used for speed, transmission speed and position sensing, engine crank, wheel speed measurement, integrated bearings and seals, and shaft speed measurement of pumps, motors, and compressors. Contains.
These products offer great flexibility and can be used in most mounting configurations.
Honeywell's unique solution uses an AMR bridge in saturation without the use of complex intensity correction algorithms to provide stable output even when the system experiences vibration, rapid air gap changes, or target misalignment. Masu.
The sensitivity of AMR signals is higher than that of Hall-effect sensor ICs, and there is no need for automatic gain control or chopper stabilization that introduces increased jitter over the operating range.
