About This Product
■VF360NT, VF360ST, VF460S
High sensitivity latching Hall effect digital sensor IC SOT-23, flat TO-92-style packages. AEC-Q100 qualified for transportation applications
■Product overview
The VF360NT, VF360ST, and VF460S high-sensitivity latching digital Hall-effect sensor ICs are small, highly sensitive, versatile devices that operate with magnetic fields from permanent magnets or electromagnets. Designed to respond to polarity switching between north and south poles. VF360NT is turned on by the north pole, VF360ST and VF460S are turned on by the south pole. This sensor IC does not use chopper stabilization method for the Hall element. This results in a cleaner output signal and faster latch response time compared to competing high-sensitivity Hall-effect latch sensor ICs that use chopper stabilization techniques.
■These products are available in two packaging styles.
・VF360NT, VF360ST: Subminiature SOT-23 surface mount package that mounts on pocket tape and reel, allowing for compact design with automatic component placement.
・VF460S: Flat TO-92-style package with straight lead wires, allows for bulk packaging and compact PC layout.
■Value for customers
-AEC-Q100 standard provides improved reliability and quality of electronic components. Many parts that meet these regulations are suitable for use in harsh automotive environments and do not require higher-level certification testing.
- Designed to provide high reliability, stable performance, and fast response times to increase efficiency in brushless direct current motor (BLDC) applications.
-Designed for a wide range of supply voltages and zero chopper delay, with potential for use in a variety of applications.
Designed to provide a clean output signal and is chopper stabilized, eliminating the need for additional circuitry to achieve noise suppression.
■Differentiation factors
Honeywell VF360NT, VF360ST, and VF460SAEC-Q100 qualified latching sensor ICs outperform many competitive sensor ICs that employ chopper stabilization technology.
