■Semi-automatic work equipment operation with intelligent machine control
The PC128USI-10 is the world's first machine-controlled hydraulic excavator that achieves semi-automatic operation of work equipment based on cutting edge position information and construction design data obtained from Global Positioning System (GNSS) antennas and reference stations. The work equipment automatically stops when the bucket edge reaches the designed surface. The assist function allows the cutting edge to move along the design surface without the need for slight manipulation, allowing the operator to easily perform excavation work without having to worry about digging too much into the design surface. In addition, compared to conventional construction, work such as tensioning and inspection can be significantly reduced, improving construction efficiency, and the number of people assisting work around the machine can be reduced, allowing for safer work.
■Automatic leveling assist
When the arm is operated, the boom automatically rises so that the bucket moves along the design surface. Rough excavation work can be carried out without worrying about the design, and finishing work can be carried out simply by operating the arm lever. Furthermore, by including the boom lowering operation, the construction range can be expanded.
■Shortest distance control
The bucket automatically detects the point closest to the design surface and controls the cutting edge. There is no need to select the management point (right, left, center) of the bucket edge during work, and you can work without worrying about digging too much even if you are not directly facing the design surface.
■Automatic stop control
When operating the boom or bucket, the work equipment will automatically stop when the bucket edge reaches the design surface, so the design surface will not be damaged. It is also easy to align the cutting edge.
■Large screen control box that is easy to see and use
The control box (ICT dedicated monitor) has a large 12.1-inch screen designed for visibility and ease of use. It is mounted in a position that is easy to see and does not obstruct your field of vision, so you can work smoothly while checking the control box. In addition, the simple screen configuration displays necessary information in an easy-to-understand manner. The icon display and touch panel make operation easy.
