About This Product
This product is an Ethernet wireless converter that allows you to easily convert wired LAN compatible devices to wireless. Using the ExpEther wireless IP core technology developed by NEC, we achieve highly reliable and low-latency communication. Additionally, the Virtual Wire function allows digital input/output signals that previously required wired connections to be made wireless. Up to 4 child devices can be connected to the parent device.
It supports input/output of 12~24VDC digital signals, and is equipped with 4 photocoupler isolated inputs (compatible with current sink output) and 4 photocoupler isolated open collector outputs (current sink type).

This product is a general-purpose media converter that converts Ethernet-based communication to wireless. Adopts ExpEther (Express Ether) wireless IP core provided by NEC, and reduces packet loss rate using radio waves in three different frequency bands: IEEE802.11n 2.4GHz band, IEEE802.11n 5.2GHz band, and DECT 1.9GHz band, and unique encoding technology. Achieves significantly reduced latency communication. It is now possible to wirelessize field networks where real-time communication is important, such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, CC-Link IE Field Basic, and CC-Link IE TSN, which was previously difficult to do.
■The number of packets delayed by 5ms or more is within 0.01%
Using Netcat (TCP), 100bytes of data was sent every 100ms for 3 minutes and the number of delayed packets was measured. The number of packets with a delay of 5ms or more is approximately 45% for 2.4GHz wireless LAN APs and 12% for 5.2GHz wireless LAN APs, but within 0.01% for RP-WEE-SR1.
