About This Product
This product is a small IEEE802.11ah compatible wireless LAN converter. Compliant with the standard IEEE802.11ah, it is possible to build a high-speed wireless and long-distance network. Compatible with external antennas, it is possible to freely construct a wireless LAN system, and the lightweight and compact design allows for various installations such as on a wall or DIN rail using the included mounting bracket. It can also be used as an access point (master station) that can connect up to 4 stations (slave stations) by switching modes.
Features
■Compliant with IEEE802.11ah standard
This product uses sub-gigahertz band communication and can communicate over longer distances than conventional wireless LAN products (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz) by avoiding radio wave interference and improving the transparency of walls and the diffraction of obstacles.
■Compatible with 920MHz wireless band with excellent transmission distance
This product converts Ethernet (wired LAN) communication to wireless in the 920MHz band. The 920MHz band has good radio wave wraparound characteristics and can extend transmission distance (approximately 1km) even in the presence of obstacles, allowing stable communication even in environments where radio waves are mixed. Since it is suitable for long-distance communication, it is possible to construct a network without wiring between facilities.
■Compatible with various power supply environments
It supports various power supplies such as an AC adapter (sold separately), 8-35VDC DC power supply, and USB power supply.
■Can be switched to station (slave station) or access point (master station)
By switching modes, it can be set not only as a station (slave station) but also as an access point (master station). It can also be used as a wireless LAN converter for wired LAN devices.
■Suitable not only for flat placement, but also for installation environments such as walls and ceilings.
Using the included mounting bracket, it can be installed in a place with good visibility and easy transmission of radio waves (walls, ceilings, etc.) or on a DIN rail.
■Suitable for a wide range of temperature environments
It is compatible with ambient temperature environments of -20 to 60°C and can be used in various temperature environments.
