■What is SATELLITE PTT?
SATELLITE PTT (Push-To-Talk) is a radio that uses satellite communications. Since communication is carried out between satellites, stable communication can be ensured even if ground infrastructure is down due to a large-scale disaster, or in mountainous areas or remote islands where communication infrastructure is not well-developed.
■One-to-many broadcast communication possible
Unlike satellite phones, you can send audio to multiple parties at the same time by simply pressing the transmit (PTT) button.
■Global wide area communication
Igilium's satellite network, which covers the entire Earth including the North and South Pole, enables wide-area communications across countries. * Depending on the country or region, importing or using the product may be prohibited.
■Real-time communication with little audio delay
Iridium satellites orbit in low orbit at an altitude of approximately 780 km, enabling real-time communications with less audio delay than other communication satellites.

■What is a talk group?
A group to communicate with. A number of talk groups are assigned according to the number of terminals (IC-SAT100) subscribed to, and you can register terminals for each talk group, create groups, and make calls.
■Communication range settings
The contracted communication range can be divided into circles or rectangles, allowing you to efficiently allocate the communication range. For example, in the case of a Small size communication range, it can be divided as shown in the diagram below to cover major cities in Japan. It is also possible to set up not only within Japan but also across countries, such as Tokyo, New York, and London.
