■Membrane separation activated sludge wastewater treatment equipment
Activated sludge treatment is commonly used to remove BOD components from wastewater. The activated sludge method is a technology that allows various microorganisms (activated sludge) to decompose and purify components such as BOD, which grow while enclosing air in wastewater.
In the conventional activated sludge method, a sedimentation tank was installed to separate solid and liquid from the microorganisms in the aeration treatment tank and the treated water. Membrane separation activated sludge method (MBR) uses a membrane with fine holes immersed in an aeration tank to directly separate solid-liquid between microorganisms and treated water, eliminating the need for a settling tank and resulting in a compact device.

Features
■Maintains transparency of treated water
By passing the treated water through a membrane with a micropore size of 0.4 μm, suspended solids and microorganisms such as E. coli are completely blocked. Since treated water with excellent transparency is always available, it can be reused depending on the purpose.
■Able to respond to fluctuations in wastewater concentration
Since the aeration tank is operated with a concentration of microorganisms 3 to 4 times higher than conventional methods, it is resistant to load fluctuations and can handle inflows of highly concentrated wastewater.

Compared to conventional methods, this method does not require sedimentation tanks, disinfection equipment, sludge thickening tanks, etc., so the equipment can be made smaller and can be installed in less space.

Because filtration is performed using a membrane with micropores, there are no problems such as poor sludge settling or outflow, and operation management is easy. It is also possible to operate at night due to the automatic driving system.
