About This Product
INERTSUSTAIN PFP is a column in which silica gel is a chemical binding of the pentafluorophenylpropyl (PFP) group.
Various interactions such as hydropholic interaction, bipolar -bipolar interaction, π -electron interaction work, and shows unique separation behavior different from ODS columns and phenyl columns.

■ Unique separation behavior
PFP columns have a characteristic that it is easy to separate structural similar compounds that are difficult to separate in general columns. It is a very effective column for separation of straps such as sis and transformers.
High holding power to high polarity (hydrophilic) compounds
PFP columns have excellent holding performance for high -polar compounds that are difficult to hold in ODS columns. INERTSUSTAIN PFP shows the extremely strong holding performance of commercially available PFP columns.
■ Low adsorption / sharp peak shape
Some commercially available PFP columns may be sacrificed in inactivity, not performing end caps to focus on separation performance. Conversely, it may be sacrificed for separation performance with emphasis on inactivation. INertSustain PFP has both high separation performance and sharp peak shape because our unique advanced end -cap technology keeps the use of PFP separation characteristics and suppresses adsorption.
■ High reproducibility / stable quality
In the case of commercially available PFP columns, the holding behavior may have changed significantly when the particle diameter was changed or when the column of a different filler lot was used. Since INertSustain PFP has a thorough quality control from manufacturing to shipment, it has excellent reproducibility between lots, and the separation pattern does not change even if the column size is changed as shown in the figure below.
