■Application field
Comparative test pumps serve as pressure generators for testing, adjusting and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments by means of comparative measurements. These pressure tests can be performed in the laboratory, at the workplace, or at the measurement point.
■Easy operability
For precise approach to the measurement point, the comparison test pump is fitted with a spindle for precise control. In particular, the smooth movement of the hand spindle allows precise approaches even at very high pressures. Furthermore, the spindle in this model range only works within the pump body. This eliminates undesirable bending moments on the unscrewed spindle.
Particularly for field operation, these pumps have the advantage that their dimensions do not change during operation due to spindle rotation. The built-in priming pump allows you to easily fill large volumes of test media to prime both comparison test pumps.
■Easy to operate
If you connect a test item and a sufficiently accurate reference measuring device to a test pump, the same pressure will act on both devices when the pump is activated. By comparing two measurements at any pressure value, a check can be made on the accuracy and/or adjustment of the pressure measuring device under test.
