VIVOTEK's MD8564-EH is a 2 megapixel network camera designed specifically for transportation applications and designed for installation on railway vehicles. The MD8564-EH is specifically designed to be mounted on the exterior of a vehicle and can be used as a side view camera (also known as a rearview camera or DOO camera) or as a pantograph surveillance camera if mounted on the roof of the vehicle. It works. In both cases, the driver has a clear view of critical areas, which can be used to monitor accidents and confirm operations.
The MD8564-EH also features an IR-LED that is effective up to 30 meters and can provide excellent image quality even in complete darkness. Fully EN50155 TX compliant, it can withstand shock, vibration, humidity and electromagnetic interference, maintaining reliable video preview and recording during any vehicle journey. Moreover, the sturdy metal housing effectively protects the camera from harsh outdoor conditions.
In addition, the IK10+ standard guarantees high resistance to mechanical shock, and the IP6K9K standard guarantees dust and water resistance. The MD8564-EH also has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and a windshield heater for de-icing and defrosting, making it suitable for even the harshest climates. Additionally, with VIVOTEK's Smart Stream II technology, the MD8564-EH can reduce both bandwidth and storage consumption by up to 50% (depending on the monitored scene) while maintaining high standards of image quality.
