About This Product
■Product overview
This device can be used as a device to prevent defective products from flowing out by instantly detecting the point at which the press die is damaged during press processing using an AE sensor. You can check the AE signal when mold damage occurs on the waveform monitor screen on the front of the main unit.
■Press mold damage detection device using AE sensor
AE is an acronym for Acoustic Emission, and its physical meaning is the acoustic radiation energy released as a solid object (such as a mold) deforms or breaks. The frequency is widely distributed from several kHz to several MHz.
This device performs high frequency analysis and waveform processing of 500kHz or higher to generate the detection signal.
It is highly reliable and is not affected by machine vibration.

・Reliably detects the point at which damage such as cracks occurs in the press mold during press processing (cold forging, precision parts processing, etc.).
・Detection settings can be made with a single knob on the front panel.
・Productivity will not decrease by installing this device.
-Special processing is applied to the AE signal, so it is not affected by external sounds or vibrations.
- Can detect chips several microns deep with high accuracy. (Depends on S/N ratio, processing conditions, etc.)
- Can be easily installed on existing machines.
- Comes with a sensor cord disconnection function.

Can be used with press machines such as high-speed automatic presses, tilting crank presses, precision punching presses, cold forging presses, single-acting crank presses, and transfer presses.
