About This Product
The CF series is a ash blowing furnace for precious metal assays using the ash blowing method. Designed in accordance with ISO11426 and certified by the British Precious Metalworkers Association. When the ash blowing method is carried out in a conventional electric furnace, steam containing toxic lead is generated, but by using Carbolite's CF series ash blowing furnace, workers are not exposed to harmful vapors and it is safe. You will be able to work on it. Carbolite also offers the following electric furnaces for metallurgy and refining.
■Standard specifications
・Maximum normal temperature 1,200℃
- Designed as a shingle furnace that complies with ISO11426:1999 and approved by the British Precious Metals Manufacturers Association.
・The flow rate of the air flowing into the chamber is adjusted using a variable valve, and the air is preheated in advance.
- Silicon carbide heating element is resistant to thermal shock and has a long life. Heating elements are installed above and below the chamber to heat the refractory crucible.
- Silicon carbide ceiling plate and hearth protect the heating element from corrosive gas fumes generated during the process.
- Removable components, including the exhaust duct, allow for easy internal cleaning.
- Vertical opening/closing door with viewing window allows workers to take in and take out samples without facing the high temperature inside the door.
