About This Product

The LHT High Temperature Laboratory Furnace series features a compact design, making it an ideal tool for laboratories in research and development environments. The cylindrical usable space of the experimental reactor is surrounded by heating elements and insulation. The heating chamber is built into a water-cooled container. Due to its small volume, the LHT is ideal for small sample volumes and requires minimal operating space. The system is supported by a single frame platform that supports the electronic cabinet containing the furnace and software controls. This platform is equipped with casters to allow easy movement of the entire system. The LHT series is ideal for use in such locations as universities and industrial laboratories. The small overall dimensions and ease of operation provide a cost-effective system without compromising performance such as temperature uniformity or air quality. Additionally, the cylindrical design is most suitable for overpressure heat treatment processes. On request, it can be equipped with suitable locking devices and all necessary equipment for safe overpressure operation up to 100 atmospheres. The metal LHT models have tungsten or molybdenum heating elements and radiation shields with maximum temperatures of 2,200°C and 1,600°C, respectively. The radiation shield serves to isolate the heat from the heating element from the water-cooled container. Metallic LHT systems provide the highest possible atmospheric purity and highest final vacuum level. By using a turbomolecular pump and a pre-pump together, the working vacuum level can reach high vacuum range.
