About This Product

HTBL's bottom-loading graphite furnaces offer temperatures of 2,200°C or 3,000°C upon request. HTBL's graphite furnaces are offered in capacities of 50, 80 and 200 liters. A clear advantage of HTBL type furnaces is ease of loading and unloading. When the hearth is lowered, the sample can be accessed from all directions without restriction. Loading, especially for delicate samples, is very easy and user-friendly. Additionally, the sample thermocouple can be installed at a predetermined position within the furnace. Retorts can also be used with HTBL. Loading area movement is fully automated by hydraulic arms. After the loading area reaches its lowest position, the user can manually rotate the loading platform outwards by 90°. Nitrogen, argon, and hydrogen gases can be used as pure or mixed gases. Other gases can also be introduced upon request. In the furnace, a slight overpressure or a controlled partial pressure can be used to ensure a defined gas flow rate. It cannot be operated on air. Various dosing and control devices control all gases. Depending on the degree of vacuum required, vacuum pumps are specially configured depending on the application or on demand. The mantle heater is software controlled and has a dedicated controller and thermocouple for overheating protection. The mantle heater consists of multiple graphite rods placed along a cylindrical hearth fixed to the top of the chamber. The insulation of this system consists of graphite felt. The system is surrounded by a water-cooled container.
