About This Product

V-L soldering tube furnaces are suitable for producing the lowest operating pressures. This vacuum feature allows you to obtain the highest purity gas atmosphere. The V-L is a vertically installed tube furnace that not only raises and lowers the hearth above the quartz tube containing the sample, but also automatically controls the loading and unloading of the sample. The quartz tube is connected to the furnace, so when loading the soldering furnace, lift the quartz tube and hearth upwards to freely access the sample area. After loading the sample, the quartz tube and hearth are lowered and locked in place to begin the heat treatment process, which allows high vacuum operation. Alternatively, after heating, the hearth can be lifted upwards and away from the quartz tube to rapidly cool the sample in vacuum, air, or an inert gas atmosphere. The soldering furnace uses CrFeAl wire elements and ceramic fiber insulation. Temperature is monitored and controlled with thermocouples. The maximum temperature is limited by the quartz tube and can reach up to 1,050°C during vacuum operation. The quartz tube is closed at the top and open at the bottom to allow the sample to enter, and a vacuum system can be attached with a polymer seal. The available space is 180mm in diameter and 300mm in height, with a capacity of approximately 2 liters and can be evacuated quickly. Additionally, the use of quartz tubes provides an extremely clean operating space. In addition, the V-L is capable of rapid cooling and is designed for easy user access to the furnace. Achieves high vacuum level of 5x10-6mbar or more. The gas is controlled by various injection devices and control devices. Vacuum is supplied at various pumping stations depending on the required degree of vacuum. ■Technical details The soldering furnace is insulated with ceramic fibers and equipped with a CrFeAl wire heating element. The top of the hearth is closed and sealed with a ceramic fiber plug. The furnace has three heating zones and is controlled by operating software for maximum temperature uniformity. The temperature of the soldering furnace is monitored and controlled by mantle thermocouples installed in each zone and superheating thermocouples.
