About This Product
AZ is an 8-zone tube furnace for controlling the temperature profile. These zones can be used to generate a temperature profile along the heated length of the furnace. Eight zones, thick insulation, and highly symmetric heating element wrapping throughout the AZ furnace achieve uniformity of less than ±5°C. The main advantage of the eight individually controlled zones is the ability to extend the uniform length inside the furnace.
Additionally, temperature profiles can be precisely controlled with linear rise, peak, or other user-defined profiles. One process suitable for AZ tube furnaces is chemical vapor deposition. This is because a temperature gradient can be created within the furnace to vaporize the precursor material in the hot end zone and sublimate the vapor onto the substrate in the cold end zone. All zones are individually controlled and monitored with thermocouples.

- It is possible to select temperature controllers and data measuring instruments that allow multi-segment temperature profile settings. These can communicate via RS232, RS485, and Ethernet.
・Independent overheating prevention function (protects important samples from damage. Convenient for unattended operation)
・A wide range of working tube diameters and materials can be selected. For example, there are working tubes made of materials such as quartz, ceramics, and metal.
・Insulating plug and radiation shield (radiant heat shield) prevent heat loss and maintain high uniformity
・It is possible to select parts that can be used in a gas atmosphere or vacuum environment.
・Vacuum heating can be performed by selecting the most suitable vacuum pump from dry pumps and turbomolecular pumps according to the degree of vacuum.
