About This Product
Industrial Large Chamber Furnaces (SBCFs) are rugged products developed for applications such as heat treating steel and alloys, sintering ceramics, and aerospace heat treating. The SBCF chamber furnace is a large industrial electric furnace based on a modular design that supports a variety of applications. The chamber interior of the SBCF series has a cubic shape and there are three models with different internal volumes.
The basic configuration is a hinged side-opening door (can be specified to open left or right) and a fixed hearth. As an option, a movable hearth type with the hearth mounted on a trolley is also available. The movable hearth type can also be supplemented with an elevator system that is fixed to the electric furnace to facilitate raising and lowering the hearth.
This chamber furnace uses a four-sided heating method using an under-heart heater and a free radiation coil wire element, allowing temperature control in up to three zones, which is unique among box-type electric furnaces. Furthermore, an air circulation fan function can be added as an option to support applications that require strict temperature distribution performance as required by the American Aerospace Materials Specification Standard (AMS2750F).
In addition, the interior materials are made of materials with high strength, fire resistance, and heat insulation properties. In particular, hard silicon carbide tiles are used for the hearth area.
