About This Product

Cryomill is a ball mill designed for freeze grinding. A cooling system integrated with a liquid nitrogen container uses liquid nitrogen to cool everything from pre-freezing to freeze-grinding. Freezing and crushing makes the sample brittle and reduces loss even for volatile samples. The automatic cooling system automatically supplies liquid nitrogen to the system in the required amount, adjusting to maintain -196°C at all times. Powerful impact force enables efficient crushing. Equipped with an automatic cooling system, operators are safe as they do not come into direct contact with liquid nitrogen during the pre-freezing and crushing processes. In addition to frozen grinding, dry grinding and wet grinding at room temperature are also possible. This is an ideal grinder for grinding samples up to 20ml. ■Unparalleled performance of ball mill for freeze grinding ・Maximum speed 30Hz ・Horizontal vibration gives a strong impact and realizes effective sample processing ・Maximum input size 8mm, grinding particle size 5µm -Number of crushing jars loaded: 1.5ml to max. 50ml. The automatic cooling system automatically supplies the required amount of liquid nitrogen to the system to maintain -196℃ at all times, so workers do not have to handle liquid nitrogen directly. The automatic cooling system also does not start grinding until the sample has completely cooled, which allows efficient cooling, reduces liquid nitrogen consumption, and provides highly reproducible grinding results.
