About This Product
Crosby Mill SK300 is a pulverizer that can handle medium-hard and brittle samples from coarse to fine pulverization by adjusting the screen and rotation speed. Batch or continuous grinding is also possible. The rotation speed can be adjusted between 2,000rpm and 4,000rpm, so conditions can be set according to the sample. It can be used for everything from sample preparation in the laboratory to prototype production in pilot plants and production facilities.

■Function
The crushing of the Crosby Mill SK300 is carried out by blowing, impact and shearing. The sample placed in the center of the grinding chamber is ground by the baffle plate at the tip of the crossbeater and the grinder on the wall of the grinding chamber. Samples that are finer than the opening of the screen attached to the bottom of the grinding chamber pass through the screen and are collected in the sample receiver. The rotation of the crossbeater causes convection of air from the sample inlet, facilitating the discharge of the crushed sample.
