About This Product
■The rotor mill quickly crushes soft to medium hard and fibrous samples.
The ultracentrifugal crusher ZM300 has variable speeds from 6,000 to 23,000 rpm, allowing sample preparation that is gentle on the sample and suitable for analysis in a short time. Temperature monitoring is possible, and high reproducibility can be maintained even when grinding for long periods of time or grinding large amounts of samples. You can choose the most suitable one for various samples from a wide variety of accessories.
■Ideal for food/feed grinding
・Crush the sample instantly using a high-speed rotating rotor and a ring-shaped screen on the outer periphery.

- By using in combination with an electromagnetic sample feeder and cyclone kit, the process from feeding to sample collection can be semi-automated.
■Improved reproducibility through temperature monitoring
With a maximum rotation speed of 23,000rpm, the ZM300 generates extremely high grinding energy, which increases the temperature inside the grinding chamber during grinding. Depending on the sample, increased temperature can have a negative impact on the grinding results, such as moisture and volatile components escaping. To avoid such effects, the ZM300 has a built-in temperature sensor that measures the temperature of the cassette lid near the screen.
The measured temperature is always displayed on the grinder display and allows you to monitor the grinding process. This feature allows you to grind while monitoring the temperature, which helps improve reproducibility.
■By increasing the maximum rotation speed, more efficient grinding is now possible.
While the existing ultracentrifugal crusher ZM200 has a maximum rotation speed of 18,000 rpm (rotor circumferential speed 98 m/s), the ZM300 achieves a maximum rotation speed of 23,000 rpm (rotor circumferential speed 118 m/s), and depending on the material, the maximum rotation speed is 15 to 20 m/s. % micronization was achieved. High speed rotation is particularly suitable for grinding frozen polymers and fibrous samples such as hay. Compared to the existing ZM200, processing capacity will increase by 10-15%.
