What's different about VOLKMANN ■A wide range of module variations and suction diameters VOLKMANN can be selected from three sizes per model, and depending on the powder, the suction method can be selected from radial or tangential. The tangential type efficiently separates fine particles into individual particles and reduces adhesion to the filter. Also, for abrasive powders such as ceramics, a radial type without a cyclone is recommended. In the case of the radial type, the flow velocity is also slower than that of the tangential type, and the powder does not flow over a wide area within the module, reducing wear. However, radial suction ports place greater strain on the filter and may require more frequent cleaning cycles. Filter loading reduces suction capacity in the long term.
