About This Product
■Two-chamber gas atmosphere furnace
In order to harden air-cooled steel such as cold, hot, and plastic molds (SKD11, SKD61, DC53, SLD8, STAVAX), etc., we use a nitrogen gas atmosphere heat treatment furnace equipped with a quenching gas cooling device to perform preheating → quenching heating → gas cooling → repeated tempering. A series of operations are performed fully automatically. The price is about half that of conventional vacuum furnaces.

・Heating/rapid cooling in nitrogen gas atmosphere
・Circular muffle, 6-sided panel heater unit
■Atmosphere heating
Nitrogen gas (N2) is introduced into the heating chamber to prevent oxidation and decarburization. Depending on the case, C3H8 or methanol may be added.
■Rapid gas cooling
The upper part is the quenching heating chamber, and the lower part is the cooling chamber. After heating, the workpiece is moved to the lower part, and cooling gas is forcibly blown through the heat exchanger to quickly cool it down.
■Convection and radiation heating
Since the pressure inside the furnace is kept constant with high-purity N2 gas, there is little de-elementation and deformation, and the combination of convection heating and radiation heating provides good temperature distribution.
■Fully automatic and about half the price of a vacuum furnace
Once the work is set, quenching and tempering are completed automatically. It is significantly cheaper than a vacuum furnace and is easier to maintain.
