Vortex type VA40, sensor head corner dimensions are 40mm, shaft diameter is 21.3mm, can be inserted into openings with a diameter greater than 40mm

■Measurement principle
-Based on the Karman vortex principle. As the fluid passes through the sensor, the internal rod becomes an obstacle and creates a vortex.
・Flow velocity can be determined by counting these vortices with the ultrasonic sensor built into the vortex sensor.

・Corrosive gases, gases containing chlorine and hydrogen chloride, SO2 and NOx
・Mainly single-phase gas mixture,
Example) Air, nitrogen, oxygen, methane, natural gas, ammonia, argon, carbon monoxide, exhaust gas, etc.
■Application field usage examples
・Wind speed/flow speed measurement of exhaust/exhaust gas
・Metallic sensors for exhaust gas, alternative materials for Hastelloy, stainless steel, titanium, or tantalum, monochloro acid resistance, hydrochloric acid vapor, etc.
■Particles/moisture and condensate
Dust and fiber particles in the gas do not affect measurements unless there is wear or build-up on the sensor.
- Relative temperatures below 100% RH do not affect measurement accuracy.
・A slight accumulation of condensate (drainage, etc.) does not affect measurement.
