About This Product
Instron's SmartRheo series capillary rheometer systems are suitable for quality control and research and development testing laboratories. The "H" column mainframe construction ensures top performance. With a speed ratio of 1:500,000 that supports piston speeds from 0.0024 mm/min to 1,200 mm/min, this SmartRheo series capillary rheometer allows testing with an unlimited number of steps at constant shear rate or constant speed. It can be implemented.

- Self-supporting rigid frame that provides strength and rigidity to the structure of the device while being able to withstand high loads.
- Transparent protective shield with interlock that stops crosshead movement when the cover is open to ensure operator safety.
- Built-in safety and software management measures to ensure operator safety.
-Fume extraction circuit to ensure operator comfort.
- Can be equipped with a wide range of capillary dies with diameters and lengths of 0.25 mm or more for testing all thermoplastics, compounds, composites, or elastomers under various process conditions.
- Dies with conical or flat entry sides can be used, and special dimensions and shapes are available upon request.
- Easily replaceable wide range pressure transducers enable highly accurate data collection.
- Shear rates ranging from 0.01/s to 4,000,000/s can be achieved depending on instrument configuration, test parameters, and material response.
- High power heater ensures minimal delay in reaching test temperature and rapid temperature recovery after sample attachment.
・Multiple Pt100 temperature sensors enable accurate temperature control.
- Models with numerous hardware and software options for specific process simulations.
